COMBONI SITES IN EGYPT It is possible to visit both in Cairo and in Aswan some places which are dear to the Comboni Missionaries: urban areas, religious sites and historical monuments. In spite of the transformations which some of them have undergone, their original beauty has never been lost. OLD CAIRO. It is possible to visit the "Coptic-Orthodox convent" built on the ruins of the "Maronite convent" which accommodated Comboni for a period of time. CORDI JESU (Cairo).
